Intellus Learning, a platform that aims to help higher-ed institutions find, evaluate and align digital content with learning objectives, has been acquired by Macmillan Learning. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Founded in 2011 (then known as Ace Learning), the Los Altos, Calif.-based startup claims to have indexed more than 50 million online learning resources. The company counts the California State University and University of Texas systems among its customers.
